Cardinal Keeler has submitted his resignation. Now, if it is accepted by Pope Benedict, who do you day replaces him? If you move Bruskewitz to Baltimore, he could knock more hell out of St. Mary's. But I would hope that it would be made sure that the guy who replaces him is good and strong. As I've said before, Bishop Bruskewitz has done too much good there to be replaced by a wash.
You could also move Archbishop Chaput to Baltimore but you would, again, have to make sure he's replaced well.
It's pretty obvious that whoever moves there will be made a Cardinal. So, if the Pope accepts the resignation, who moves there?
