Going away for a day

Well folks, we're going down to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to meet of with Lcpl. Morris. He's finally coming back to the United States and will expect him to be actually on or over American soil by late late Thursday or early early Friday. We're expecting to meet him early Friday.

Dad had bought, about a year and a half ago, a very good digital camera. We used it and had pictures from as late as Lcpl. Morris' boot camp graduation to as late as our past Christmas visit to the grandparents. Problem was that we didn't have an extractor cord. We finally got around to getting one, and last night I extracted the pictures. There are a couple of really good ones of Jonathan Lee.

He probably wouldn't mind me posting them since he already has a pictures of himself on his blog and in his profile (by the way, if you haven't seen them, they're still on his blog. He's holding big guns in those two pictures, as God intended). Still, I'll err on the side of caution and ask him first. I hope he says yes...they're really good and I think many would like to see them. Remember, uniforms are just...cool. For instance, the cassock and surplice. The C and S are just....cool.

Anyway, I should be going now. Semper Fi!
