Hair tearing, spirit dumping, parade raining Loss

A Mets loss like today's is just so depressing. Yanks had about four hits going into the ninth and the Mets had a four to zero lead. We have one of the best closers in the big leagues today (and paying him I don't know how much) and he blows it. SO EXASPERATING!

But hey, did any of you see that brawl at the game between the White Sox and Cubs? See the video here. White Sox player A.J. Pierzynski was running home trying to score against the throw that he had to beat from the left field. He slammed into the Cubs catcher, Michael Barret, and there was a nasty collision but Pierzynski was safe. Barret, obviously not appreciative of the headache he undoubtedly got from that collision, swiftly got up, said only a few words to Pierzynski, and then punched him across the jaw. The teams proceeded to go at each other and four players, I think I heard, were ejected. A display of class on all sides, I must say.
